Overview

A challenging climb to an observation tower atop Ngu Lam Peak.

Need to Know

Adults pay 80,000 VND to enter the park. Entrance fee includes access to the nearby Hospital Cave.

Description

The trail follows a paved road from the park entrance to where the trail begins to ascend. There is a trail meant to ascend and one to descend. Signs mark the path, and several large maps on signs show points of interest along the trail.

Almost the entire trail is paved or covered with stone and mortar stairs. Steeper sections of the portion of the trail ascending Ngu Lam have a concrete railing alongside a stone trail. In the steeper sections, hikers may need to use their hands to steady themselves and climb. At the top of Ngu Lam 1 there is an observation tower.

Flora & Fauna

Chipmunks and various birds. Trees are frequently marked with their Vietnamese and scientific names.
