Description

Whether used on its own or as part of the greater trail network at He-Nis-Ra Park, this trail will provide you with a pleasant experience. Starting from South Point Road, it meanders west along an easy loop through an open meadow in the park. Along the way, expect to parallel the treeline. As a fun game to play, see how many different types of deciduous trees you can spot while along the trail, and compare with your hiking partner if you have one.

Soon after starting the trail, you'll have made your way around the loop and returned to where you started. For an extended stay in the park, head north along the sidewalk to the main parking area and head out on one of the color-coded trails in the area. While used as ski trails in the winter, these park trails are equally pleasant to experience in the summertime.

Great trail for trail running though it was hard navigating. Trail was wide and not many roots to get in the way of running. 3.9mi — 0h 38m
