Description

The South Trail is on a large expanse of rocks with many good views. It's mostly manageable without much scrambling required, but watch your footing as many of the rocks will move when you step on them. Follow the blue blazes painted on the rocks. It's a scenic, but more difficult, alternative to the Appalachian Trail which runs parallel.
