The south end of Rocky Ridge trail no longer has a separate trailhead from the Loop Trail. Use the Loop trailhead on the north side of the road and the access trail to Rocky Ridge is marked with a sign along the way.

Description

This trail can be accessed off of Charles Hagerman Way just uphill from Shelter # 6. Park at the lot along the main road between the tennis courts and the first baseball field. There is also a short connector that provides access to the trail from the backside of the Shelter 6 area.

Paralleling the ridge, this trail is generally level, but there are several short to moderate climbs and descents along the way to keep things exciting. The section outlined here connects back into Harold Bishop Dr. at the rear of the park, but there are other trails that allow hikers to continue, which eventually leads to a loop back to the beginning.

Near Harold Bishop Drive, hikers can access the Loop Trail to extend the hike and to see geological features such as Devil's Tea Table.
