This section of trail has drainage issues and can stay quite muddy even long after rain. These issues will most likely be corrected by future trail work.

This trail starts off of the Harrisburg Ball Field Loop directly past the Pepsi scoreboard. Descend the small hill past the fire road on the right. The trail starts off to the right a few feet after the fire road and is marked with blue and white ribbons. At the 0.2 mile mark the trail takes a quick right hand turn after a short downhill and immediately crosses a creek. After the creek crossing, the trail climbs fairly steeply through the only major climb in the clockwise direction. After the trail comes out of the woods, stay to the left and follow the pink flags for a short downhill section that runs parallel to the train tracks that concludes at another creek crossing at the 0.5 mile mark.

Once you pass the crossing, there is a small optional loop on the left. At the 0.7 mile mark, the trail makes a quick 180 degree turn to the left and follows the levee 0.1 mile before dropping back down into the woods on the right. The trail climbs up to its highest point at the mile mark and leads to the main downhill section that concludes at the 1.2 mile mark at another creek crossing.

After the crossing, take a right at the fire road and traverse another rocky garden section before the trail opens up in a small grassy area. Stay to the right by the tree line as the trail takes a left back into the woods shortly after narrowing back to doubletrack. At the 1.4 mile mark the Extension Loop Parking Lot Connector intersects with the trail on the left and can be used as an easier exit to get back to the Harrisburg Half side of the park.
