This is primarily a mountain bike trail, but it still makes for a good hike as long as you're prepared to encounter bikers.

Description

This trail in the Carolina Sandhills Region is part of Cheraw State Park. This trail has no restrictions when wet—in fact, it's best when it's a bit damp! The trail comprises seven miles of rolling sandy terrain. There are three shortcuts; yellow, orange, and green.
Parking is on Auction Barn Road just off of Route 1.
