Description

The trails starts at the Rocky Ridge parking area and heads south towards the Ohlone Wilderness Trail. Oak Hills Nature Trail is on the right just 200 yards from the trailhead. Past the junction, the trail gains elevation quickly providing a few views of Lake Del Valle and the Mendenhall Springs hills across Arroyo Valle. Once you reach the highest point at 0.8 miles, the trail becomes more exposed. At the next sharp left turn, you reach a trailhead register. Sailor Camp Trail ends here and continues as Ohlone Wilderness Trail.
