Need to Know

Treat all water. The Ball Hut only has three beds.

Description

From the parking lot the trail first passes a series of moraines called the Blue Lakes.

Soon you are on the ridge that sits a few hundred feet above the Tasman Lake. Cruise along the ridge and enjoy the majesty of the valley. Depending on the conditions, around halfway you'll come to the terminus of the Tasman Glacier.

After getting a good view, continue along and you soon arrive at Ball Hut..
