Description

Start at the trailhead for Summit Trail. There is a sign-in sheet that you can use to record being in the area. The route is a gradual incline for the first 1.5 miles or so. At mile 1.7, you'll pass Ski-Loop Trail; keep following Summit Trail to the left. The trail reaches low ground between miles 1.8 - 2.3. Expect standing water and a muddy surface.

At mile 2.6, follow the less beaten path left to make the final push to the ridge. This is the most difficult part of the route. Once atop the ridge, you'll find a few rock formations and will clearly see the radio tower at Wickersham Dome. The trail ends at the top of the ridge.
