Need to Know
The trail doesn't start at an easy-to-access trailhead. I recommend parking at the entrance to Road #7615 or Road #7625 to get started.
Description
This trail follows the power lines that loop around north then east of Calico Peak. It has a few very short challenging climbs just steep enough to get your heart pumping. To the east, you'll see the brown-layered Lane Mountain range. Once you get past Calico Peak, the trail turns south and you get a great downhill that you can pick up some speed on.
Flora & Fauna
No distinct fauna and just your normal mojave lizards will be darting off the trail in front of you.
