“A short loop trail near the campground and Turkey Run Hollow. Fun and scenic trail, and fantastic evening hike.”— Michael Kontos
Features Birding · Fall Colors · Geological Significance · River/Creek · Spring · Views · Waterfall · Wildlife
Family Friendly Short, scenic trail with lots of rocks for kids to play on. Beware that the north side of this trail is along a small cliff.
Take a left after meeting Trail #6. The trail then climbs a bluff and enters a pine forest. To the right of the trail are nice views of Sugar Creek from the top of the cliff. Eventually you'll come across a valley on the right which will seasonally feature a waterfall. Passing the waterfall and a sitting area, the trail rejoins the connector to the campground.
