Description

Begin the trail behind the cabins. The pathway immediately crosses the Old Highway Bridge. If you are scared of heights, this is a pretty terrifying bridge to cross. I wouldn't recommend children on this trail simply because this bridge is very treacherous and the rest of the trail sits atop a very high ridge. The trail itself is not dangerous; just be aware of how high you are and keep your kids within sight.

After crossing the bridge, the trail turns to the right and ends in a clearing. In this area there is an old log church, and a memorial to Colonel Richard Lieber, the father of Indiana State Parks. Return to the start of the trail by retracing your steps.
