Description

This trail is a great option when you are pressed for time and cannot commute to outlying trails or winter weather has made other trails unridable. The best location to access this trail is at the Market Street Trailhead. You can even incorporate this hike into a session with one or more of the Boston Hill trails for additional time and miles.

From Market Street, turn right onto Highway 180 and head toward Silver City. After a brief hike on the blacktop, you should see the stadium entrance on the left side of the road. Turn into the stadium and follow the road back until it ends near a fenced area.

The singletrack starts here and follows the length of the fence before it becomes a robust climb up the ridge. You'll eventually top out on the ridge and begin a descent. The trail runs into dirt doubletrack during the descent. Turn right on the doubletrack and briefly hike it until you pick the singletrack back up. Simply continue on the singletrack until it ends on Branding Iron Road.
