Need to Know
A free, decent-sized gravel parking lot with one porta-potty.
Turkey Hill is a nature preserve with one trail (blue) that is a 2-mile loop. The trail is well marked and maintained so it's easy to hike around and not worry about where you are going or if you are on the trail. While hiking through the park, I saw plenty of birds, chipmunks, and wildflowers, though sadly no turkeys. The trail starts off pretty flat and then has a few hills throughout. There are a couple of swamps/ponds in the preserve which attracts lots of mosquitos so bring the insect repellant.
Flora & Fauna
The preserve is home to many species of songbirds, chipmunks, frogs, owls. Town of Orange lists an "abundance of deer and wild turkey." I did not see them on my hike, but they could still be around.
