Description

This is a paved loop that runs alongside Mayde Creek and is accessible from parking at the Cullen Park Phase II area. There are several connections from the creek side to the parking side.

The portion of the trail that runs along the creek is well-shaded and quiet.

The area has playground facilities and restrooms. Be aware that smash and grab vehicle burglaries are common in the area.

Cullen Park is a City of Houston park located inside Addicks Reservoir. Addicks Reservoir, administered by the US Army Corps of Engineers, plays a key role in flood control for the Houston area. For more information about the reservoir, please refer to swg.usace.army.mil/Missions
