Start at the Perch Lake Shelter and stay to the left at the intersection with Lake Trail. The Ridge Trail provides direct access to Lee's Loop and a longer hike or can be followed as a loop when combined with Kathy's Loop and then returning on Lake Trail. Locals prefer to hike Ridge Trail downhill towards the Perch Lake shelter.
