Description

This section hike of the South West Coastal Path has so many highlights. You can also start from Torquay by getting the ferry from Brigham and then hike the 9.4 miles back.

First is the short but pretty wooded area with intermittent views of the sea. Then there are the coves and later larger beaches that you drop down into. A steam train will occasionally pass by you as the trail runs parallel to the park.

On a sunny day like today is a great hike with plenary of chances to buy real Devonshire ice creams and a pint in the various pubs along the way.

Plus if you live in the USA, as I now do, note there are no dangerous wildlife in the UK to worry about.

All in all, it is perfect!

Flora & Fauna

Lots of birds abs wood flowers.
