The trail is flat until the end when you arrive at the mill. Just before that is a small sandy area with a short stretch that tends to be muddy. The overlook at the end is well worth the journey. The trail is very uneven and has sandstone rocks in the path, so watch your step

I hiked the full loop around the bison enclosure with Teo. Very hot and muggy, with bugs in the shaded woods. Beautiful wildflowers in bloom.
