Family Friendly This trail is easily hikeable, making it doable for kids.

This trail is located in Little Manatee State Park. There is a $5 entry fee for vehicles.

Description

The trail starts in an open meadow for parking. The trailhead is well marked and has a sign telling you what you can expect on your adventure. The trail is used for horse and foot traffic. You'll encounter horse droppings. There are quite a few sandy spots so be prepared for that. Other than that, it is a nice hike through what Florida has to offer.

Flora & Fauna

Gopher tortoises can be seen here.
