Description
From the trailhead sign at the edge of the parking area, head south into the grassy field on the very obvious trail. After a little less than a quarter mile, the trail reaches the far end of the field where there is a fork in the trail. Go left at this fork and descend down to a little creek. As the trail drops to the creek, it enters the thin woods that the creek runs through.
Now at the creek, the trail levels off and follows the creek to where it empties into Tecolote Creek at the bottom of Tecolote Canyon. Here, Acworth Ave. Access ends after a short 0.4 miles, at
Tecolote Canyon Trail - South.
Flora & Fauna
