A rowdy singletrack connection to the BCT, great for a loop option from Black Canyon City.

Description

Little Pan is a connecting segment from the Black Canyon Trail (BCT). It's found between the Black Canyon trailhead and the Table Mesa trailhead. This trail is often followed as a loop with the Black Canyon Trail (BCT) starting at the Black Canyon trailhead.

From south to north, the trail is consistently rocky and challenging for most of the route. Little Pan has a sustained climb initially, followed by a descent and another short climb. Before re-connecting with the Black Canyon Trail (BCT) on the north end, the trail crosses a wide section of the Agua Fria River.
