Description
At about 2.15 miles into the trail, take a right to get to Bucking Mule Falls (approximately 2.3 miles into the trail). The most popular segment of this trail is to Bucking Mule Falls and back. There is an option to do the whole trail which is around 9.4 mi. one way.
This was one of the most pristine trails in the Bighorns until recent trail "improvements" left a 4-6ft wide scar for 7 miles. RIP Trail 53.

U.S. Forest Service has bulldozed a trail from mile 3 to mile 9 (starting from the Jaws Trailhead). Disappointing disruption of beautiful area.
