Description
The Socorro Nature Area Trail is a short but scenic extension at the north end of the Socorro Valley Bosque Trail. It has a level gravel surface and markers denoting local flora.
The Socorro Nature Area includes restroom facilities and sheltered picnic spots. It is a convenient spot for a lunch break when hiking the Socorro Valley Bosque Trail as an out-and-back hike from the south.
The trail and nature area are both maintained by the BLM. Please sign in at the trailhead.
