Description

I have only done a short section in the northeast that forms a part of the Skunk Tank Trail 246 - Cave Creek Trail #4 loop.

The Trail begins at an intersection with the Cave Creek Trail #4, about 0.8 miles from the Cave Creek Trailhead on Seven Springs Road. It heads south, crosses Cave Creek, and then heads uphill to a junction with the beginning of Skunk Tank Trail 246, in about 0.3 miles.

did Cave Creek plus Cottonwood, made some wrong turns so the loop was huge. trail 248 disappeared, had to cross country to get to 247 (Cottonwood) 22mi — 8h 00m
