Description

The trailhead is unmarked and consists of a dirt road pull-off with space for about 4-5 vehicles. The trail is composed of old logging roads and footpaths, which are not maintained. There are inconsistent white/red blazes, cairns, notched trees, and marking tape which loosely signify the trail.

The early sections of trail follow the relatively flat ridgeline, past four decaying sections of stone fence. As you reach the overlook points, you'll come upon the the Arch Caves and Sandstone Castles, which makes for a good lunch spot.

Head back to the trail press on to Twin Falls. The trail drops steeply with no switchbacks. Hiking poles are recommended for this section, especially for coming back up this way. At the bottom of the hollow, find a campsite and fire ring with an overlook of two large waterfalls, which empty into the creek below.

Start of the trail is a little difficult to find, but the trail appears well trekked, but needs a little maintenance. 3.7mi — 12h 00m
