Garmin=4.7 miles to the summit, we turned around there, not wanting to hike 20 miles RT. Counted 123 fallen trees on the partial trail.

Views of the Kootenai River Valley in the distance (left) open up at an overlook along the trail, on a colorful early October day. The prominent tree skeleton is a relic of the 1967 wildfire here.
