Description

This trail starts by splitting off of the BST: Draper Section pretty soon after leaving the East Bench Trail, just off of the Corner Canyon Road. After leaving the BST, this trail starts to weave in and out of small drainages, through sagebrush and sparse vegetation, which makes it feel high above the surrounding trails and Corner Canyon below.

The first quarter mile is relatively flat, and after that the trail starts to climb gradually. A little bit more than 0.5 miles into the trail, there is a section that is pretty rocky, where the trail has been built with talus, which makes it a fun section of the trail. The trail then turns back into dirt, and continues to climb, somewhat paralleling the Corner Canyon Road. After 1.2 miles, the trail meets up with the Ghost Falls Trail, which leads to Ghost Falls, just a short distance from the end of the Rattler trail.

Flora & Fauna

Sagebrush, some scrub oak and maple, grasses, deer.
