This is a rocky and sometimes steep trail between the Griffith Lake Trailhead and Griffith Lake. A few stream crossings!

Description

This trail leads from the South End Griffith Lake Trailhead up to Lake Griffith. The trail is in great condition, with a few creek crossings. It's well signposted, and uses blue blazes. The first part of the trail goes through private property, before turning and climbing into the National Forest. As you climb out of the pines, the ground becomes more rocky, and includes a bridge to a rock ledge (with a metal railing).
The final part of the trail joins the Long Trail (AT), and delivers you to the beautiful Griffith Lake.

The trail was mostly clear, with a few downed trees. Mostly free of mud, and in great condition. The lake is gorgeous! 3.4mi — 1h 30m
