Flat terrain, short distance, and nearby water feature make this trail manageable for families. Our five-year old had no problem with the trail.
Description
This trail will take you to the southern extreme of the preserve. Hikers are treated to beautiful views of the Middle Fork River. Beaver cuttings are found on saplings along the riverbank, while deer tracks are found right on the trail.
Flora & Fauna
You can see beaver, river otters, bald eagles, and lots of white tail here.
