It is open, wide enough to not feel closed in, variable surfaces, technical and fun. Incredible views throughout.

Need to Know

You can park at a spot along Gypsum Creek road where there is a pullout/dispersed camping spot, or you can drive up to the Skylar Hoopman memorial site. Be sure to head to the left at this point and go up Red Creek Trail, and not towards the right which is Muckey Lake Trail #1862. There is one more spot further up where you also want to make sure you head left, over a fallen aspen, and not to the right.

Cows and Aspens - the lower trail does have cattle lands/paths, so don't be surprised if you see some along the way, including blocking your path.

Red Creek - so names because of the red rocks native to the area.
