Description

The Green Trail heads south from the meadows in the central part of Mashomack Preserve and passes Smith Cove on a bluff high above the water with great views. It then goes up and down a bit through the woods as it approaches tidal estuaries and freshwater ponds. It wraps around past old farm houses and back to the north along a service road through the woods. After 2.5 miles, it will loop back onto itself and head back north to the central meadow.
