Family Friendly An easy interpretive trail to a pleasant viewpoint of Big Bay.

Description

This trail forms a short loop with the parking area, so you can go either direction. It is accessible the whole way. Both sides of the trail have little signs that lift to show information about the local plants and animals. The trail gradually climbs a little and opens to lovely views to the Keweenaw Peninsula, Lake Independence, Lake Superior, and Big Bay. There is also a little side trail to a picnic table that also has great views. Finish the loop back to the parking area.
