Need to Know

The North Carolina Arboretum charges a $14 parking fee. Also offers a 50% discount on personal vehicle parking ($7) on the first Tuesday of every month.

Spring/Summer Property Hours:

8 a.m. – 9 p.m. (entrance gate closes at 8 p.m.)

November – March
8 a.m. – 7 p.m. (entrance gate closes at 6 p.m.)

Description

This trail connects Bent Creek Road near its intersection with the Old Mill Trail to the Natural Garden Trail and the main garden area, passing through a rhododendron thicket. Follow this beautiful wooded trail as it climbs through diverse terrain that includes short, rocky climbs and bermed singletrack.
