Description

This is multi-use trail and generally very well maintained by the Forest Service. The trail weaves in and out of forested sections opening up to vistas of the Wilderness. It is particularly gorgeous in late May/early June when the snow finally retreats and the wildflowers bloom in carpets of color.

Clear singletrack path is very obvious throughout the entire run. Surface is packed dirt and easy on the feet.

About as rocky as the trail gets.
