Built in 1988 with assistance from Boy Scout troops, this trail is comprised of wooded areas, hollows, and the bluffs above the Missouri River valley. There are great historical elements which will also follow part of the river bluffs. There is also a connector to the neighboring Jameson Island unit of the Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge. Many will spot deer and smaller mammals as well as birds like turkeys and bald eagles.
From Campsite #43. Full park loop including Lewis & Clark Trail of Discovery and AR Ferry Site. (4/200)
