Description

The trail begins at the parking area just as you turn into the recreation center parking lot. The entirety of this path is paved and is a very gentle grade, making it suitable for just about anyone. It forms a short loop hike if you take the sidewalk around the recreation center back to the original parking area.

Overall this trail travels through a heavily forested area near the lake, opening up to a large grassy field at the southwesterly most point. There are multiple benches strewn along the trail that make picturesque resting points.

Flora & Fauna

With it's proximity to the lake, you'll likely have plenty of bird viewing opportunities.
