Need to Know

Limited shade and the only water source is the lake (off trail hiking to get to the lake in many parts).

Description

This is a fire road that connects to campsites and trails on the north side of the lake. The road is well graded but offers long stretches with no shade. The section between the Falcon Trail trailheads has large elevation changes as the road follows the contours of the mountains and creek valleys. This is the main access to the Falcon Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Poison Oak adjacent to trail.
