Need to Know
If you plan to stay in the Gite be sure to book it in advance. The Gite serves breakfast and dinner in a restaurant.
Description
This is a great way to wake up and hike, but if you didn't stay at the Gite you don't need to bother with this trail. The trail is clearly marked with large white blazes which help you follow the correct pathway through the rocky terrain. Keep an eye out for the cool rock formations formed by lava cooling long ago. Some sections of the trail appear to have been made from stepping stones and concrete long ago; other sections are natural rock or gravel. A few equestrian trails cross this pathway.
