Need to Know

This is a popular trail for dirt bikes, which in theory are banned from April to June. No guarantees though.

Description

This is a great early spring hike for wildflowers. Popular when it’s raining ion the west side of the Cascades since it’s generally sunnier and drier here. This hike starts at the Iron Creek trailhead, which has limited parking. Approximately 3 miles to trail junction at a saddle on Teanaway Ridge. The Bear Creek trail heads south while the Teanaway Ridge trail heads north towards Miller Peak.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of wildflowers. The trail is a mix of forest, shrub, and talus slopes
