Trail shared by David Macauley

An easy, less busy trail to an overlook of the Potomac River.

Description

A nice trail in Great Falls that doesn’t get nearly the foot traffic that the Billy Goat trails get. You can park at the main park area or near Angler’s Inn and there is also easy to access from Berma Road via the Gold Mine Loop. The trail ends at Lock 19 Spur, but just before there is a short detour to a rock formation with great views of the Potomac River.
