Description

Forty years ago, this section of the park was crisscrossed by paved roads, which the park blocked off and left to deteriorate. Coss Road, like Woods Road, is one of these old roads which today make for nice trails in the woods. There are sections where macadam can still be seen under the leaves.

Coss Road connects Woods Road, and the Steffen Trail to Strubble Road, and to the Stoll Trail, allowing for an interesting loop hike in this wilder section of Stokes State Forest.
