This track will get you to Dog Stream Waterfall (135 feet high) on the slope of Mount Isobel. For the most part, this track follows the small creek that is fed by the waterfall. The ascent is quite demanding and not to be underestimated. The sign at the beginning of the track indicating 2.5 hours to the waterfall may not be wrong even though it's a mere 1.4 miles. Only a few slightly exposed sections on this track will provide good views. As you make your way up, you'll cross the creek several times over wooden bridges. The waterfall has a small pool at its base and is a good resting point.
You can continue on the even steeper Waterfall Link Track to reach Mount Isobel Track which will take you to the summit of Mount Isobel.
