Doogan Tower Road climbs from Old Hwy 2 (FS 16) up to the former site of a fire tower. The tower is missing and the view from the top is overgrown at least in the summer—it might be better in late fall.

After the intersection with the Iron Mountain Trail (#77), the road hasn't seen any traffic in quite some time. It's overgrown with grasses and covered in leaves, but still passable as a fairly steady climb if you want to try your luck with the view.
