This trail is exposed and can be dangerous. I would recommend only going up this route, as descending the trail would be more difficult to follow the trail.
Description
Definitely not for the faint-hearted, this trail cuts around the north side of the Deer Lake then climbs up the steep sections of grass and rock at the base of the main peak. Please note near the top there are two sections of fixed rope that area more like Class 3 climbing.
