Description

This trail is well marked and easy to find from either direction. Going up South Crest Trail #130, split off to your right around mile 2. If ascending via South Crest and South Faulty Trail, make a sharp left a mile and a quarter after the turn-off to South Faulty.

This trail is relatively flat and meanders up and down among bushes, cactus, and medium-sized trees. The trail itself is well-maintained, consisting of hard-packed dirt singletrack with a fair number of rocky sections thrown in.

Flora & Fauna

On either side of the trail are the characteristic junipers and pinons. Cacti and sparse wildflowers grow here as well.

Wildlife that may be glimpsed include birds common to the area, squirrels, horned toads, and more.
