DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multi-use, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for horses and cyclists. It is normally open in any weather, although it can close during extended periods of freeze/thaw in the winter.

Description

Flatwoods Trail starts off of Sky Valley Road at the Guion Farm parking lot at the intersection with Farmhouse Trail. Linking this trail with Shoal Creek and Farmhouse creates a fairly easy loop with a downhill section.
