Need to Know

The eastern end of the road terminates at East Weaver Creek. There is no bridge here, but it is crossable. If you prefer, take Day Ranch Trail to the bridge if you want to pick up East Weaver Creek Trail or LaGrange Ditch Trail.

Description

This is a great way to get from one side of the basin to the other. The road is gated and is closed to cars year round. It is a mostly flat traverse across the basin and makes for a great way to get from Weaver Bally Road to other parts of the basin trails.

Watch out at the eastern end as it is steep and rutted. This section of the road is locally known as "Misery". You are better off using the nearby section of Jackass Ridge Trail to get around Misery.
