Campground Loop Trail

One of a series of stacked loops within the Cabin John Campground just off Tuckerman Lane. Cabin John Trail is just on the other side of the creek.

The trail is easily accessed with its own small parking area but is yards away from a park which has substantially more parking space and acts as overflow when this section of the park is busy. Cross the bridge, and you have a nice hike into the campground. The trail is very wide (large enough for a parks service pickup truck to access the campground) and is mostly crushed rocks.
