Need to Know

Close to the southern trailhead, there is a section of Musser Hill Road that locals use for target shooting. Because this trail goes behind the backstop, I avoid this trail when I hear gunshots.

Description

This is a great little spur trail. It's used to drop down to the bottom of Musser Hill Road or connect up with the Shasta Springs Trail. There are two tricky sections that are the result of culverts that have been removed where you'll want to watch your step.
