Description

This trail begins at the historic Hulston Mill. This mill was moved from its original site near Co. Rd. 92 by the Dade County Historical Society to its current location. This area features an excellent camping area with vault toilets, running water, RV hookups, and fire rings.

Start at the camp and head north towards the first Missouri Department of Conservation trailhead/parking lot. The trail path varies from doubletrack to singletrack with several hills and loose rocks. From here continue up the horse trail through the woods and gradually to the lakeshore. At this point, you'll follow the Stockton Lake shoreline for the rest of the trip. There are some good lake views along the way.

Consider bringing a trash sack with you to clean up along the way, as the areas near the lake often get littered.
